All Wellis hot tubs are made in Europe - Hungary with factories in Dabas & Ozd, backed by high quality craftsmanship.
Most hot tubs operate on 230 volts, which is similar to the voltage used by large household appliances. The amperage requirements can vary widely, often ranging from 20 to 60 amps or even higher for larger models.
It is important to have a flat leveled surface area prior to installation of the hot tub together with enough space for maintenance panel removal. An outdoor waterproof electrical supply and a water source for filling the hot tub should be prepared close by, the water supply can be supplied via hose remotely.
Both hot tubs and hydro therapy bath tubs give the same massage experience, a hydro therapy bath can be filled every time you want to use it; it is smaller in size and is normally placed in the bathroom. As for the hot tub, this is mainly placed outside and pre filled with water that can last up to 90 days due to the filtration system, it is possible to set the desired temperature that will be kept the water warm thanks to the thermal cover, it also accommodates more than one or two people.
All hydro therapy bath tubs are made in house at our local workshop; all tubs are custom made to your specific request.
An infrared sauna consumes less energy, has a faster heat up time, it is a dry sauna and deeply penetrates the body and requires temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius. As for a Finnish sauna heat up time is slower through a heater element of 3kw up to 12kw depending the size of the room, the users will then poor water on to the lava rocks that sit on top of the elements to create a humid atmosphere, temperatures range between 75 and 90 degrees Celsius.
The water in your hot tub must be kept clean and free of any bacterial substances at all times. Often times when the water quality is not up to standard, this could lead to infections, irritations and other severe diseases.
Test your water balance at least 2 to 4 times a week; adjust the PH, Alkalinity, Calcium hardness levels and chlorine accordingly. Chemical dosage can vary depending on usage, placement of the hot tub, for example indoors, outdoors, shade, direct sunlight, water temperature, air pollution etc. All this can contribute to using more chemicals.
Ideal Levels
It is important to keep the filters in your hot tub clean as possible; the filters should be cleaned every 1 to 2 weeks depending on usage. Filters can be cleaned in a solution to get better results. The filters should be changed yearly.
The water in the hot tub should be changed every 90 days. Before draining the tub, it is advised to use a spa cleaning solution that will flow through the pipes to get rid of any unwanted bio film build up.
The thermal cover is one of the most important features of your hot tub; this will allow keeping your hot tub water clean when not in use as well as the water temperature and will save you money on electrical costs. The cover should be aired 2 times a week to help get rid of the moisture; a couple of hours in the sun will help. To maintain the cover one can use a spa cover cleaner and after this a bit of cover conditioner cream, that will help the cover vinyl soft, minimize stich tear and keep it looking brand new.
Always wipe the surface areas of the seating place after every use with a damp cloth to avoid any bacteria growth due to the sweating. Just like the hot tub we should shower before using the sauna to eliminate any oils our bodies release in the day. Ideally use a pair of slippers before entering the sauna to avoid any dirt or dust that can attach to the soles of your feet.
A hydro therapy bath tub normally does not have a built in filtration system, we fill and drain the water after every use. It is important to use the hydro therapy as intended, with clean water and adding only essential oils or bath salts. A jetted bath is not to be used with soapy water or any other soap liquids or bubble bath; this can lead to bacteria living in the pipe work. It is recommended to disinfect the tub after every use, simply pour an amount of disinfection in the water after use and let the pump run for a few minutes with the air valve shut to avoid any foaming, once done drain the water, rinse the bath thoroughly and wipe down with a damp cloth. This method will not only keep your pipes clean and disinfected, but will also extend the life of the chroming fittings and eliminate tarnishing.
